Fashionable Springtime Cowboy Boots

Spring brings pleasant weather, patio dining, blooming flowers, and a new fashion color palette for the season which means it’s time to pack up your sweaters, scarves, heavy long sleeve shirts and refresh the closet with your bright and airy Spring wardrobe. We checked with Pantone’s Fashion Color Report for Spring 2012 to see what lucky warm hues made the list for Spring’s ‘It’ colors.  They are (drum role please..):

We’re loving the light and (almost) neon shades of the Cockatoo, Cabaret, and Tangerine Tango as well as the full tones in the Sodalite Blue, Solar Power, and Bellflower. We loved them so much, in fact, that we perused the Lane Boots website to find boots that have traces of these must-have Spring colors. Here are our findings:

The Allie boots are the perfect Springtime boot to sport with the sweet flower detail against the neutral chocolate brown backdrop of the boot. And, what do you know, we spot some Sweet Lilac in some of the flower detail!

Shades of the Cockatoo are everywhere in Lane Boots! The popular Cockatoo can be found in Dawson in Washed Mustard and Turquoise,  Ashlee Lace,  Margaret in Turquoise and Black, Old Mexico, Poison in Turquoise and Brown, and last, but not least, Dawson in Turquoise and Brown.

Groovy Girl in Blue Stitching shows off the darker, fuller hue of Sodalite Blue in the flower and bird detail showcased on the front, side, and heel of the boot. The pretty shades of blue contrasted against the light brown color of the boot really pops and catches the eye, don’t you think?. Blue and brown are always a great pair for that very reason!

Sweet Lilac, Cockatoo, and Sodalite Blue aren’t the only Spring 2012 colors found in our boots – there are boots with Solar Power, Cabaret, and Bellflower too!
